Applications

Valves are devices, available in various shapes and sizes, designed to meter, maintain or restrict the flow of materials through hoses, pipes, tubing or entire systems. Valves generally work by allowing flow while they are in their open position, and restrict flow when they are closed.

Type

There are wide varieties of rubber valves like check valves, ball valves, air pressure valves, butterfly valves, gate valves etc. Rubber is used to design valves so as to allow one way sealing devices like as duckbill valves, umbrella valves, flapper valves etc. to withstand harsh chemical environments. The right valve design as per flow parameters can be produced by using rubber.

Rubber ‘O’ Rings

Applications

An O Ring is used as a mechanical seal or gasket. O Rings are made from elastomeric compounds such as natural or synthetic rubber and are widely used in industrial applications. The basic purpose of o rings is to seal mechanical parts against air or liquid or any fluid movement. O Rings are designed to be seated in a groove and compressed between two or more parts during assembly thereby creating a seal at the interface.

Type

There are two types of O-Rings: Static O Ring and Dynamic O Ring. Static Seal is the one which does not move, except for pulsation caused by cycle pressure. Dynamic seals are those seals that are subjected to movement. O-rings are successfully used in both static and dynamic applications

Applications

Rubber sheets are very popular and are used extensively for general, industrial and mining applications. These sheets insertions are usually designed for use in applications where stresses are generally static and pressures are low. There can be cloth insertion, nylon cloth.

Applications

Vacuum Suction Cups, Vacuum Grippers and Suckers are used extensively by the packaging, printing, collating and mailing industries, and for a wide variety of automated material handling applications involving metal, glass, plastics, paper, food and wood.

‘U’ Bolt coating

Applications

The Rubber and polyurethane coated U-bolt are a seamless, vulcanized material that can be applied to all types of U-bolts. These U-bolt’s are excellent for eliminating corrosion problems on piping in refineries, chemical plants, paper mills, rigs and the shipping industry. They serve as an excellent shock and vibration absorber.

Type

Accelerated corrosion can occur between pipes and uncoated U-bolts due to metal contact between the U-bolt and pipe. This interaction can be completely eliminated by using our protected coating U-bolt.
